MOLD CHANGER

General responsibilities for this position are:

  • Must have an understanding of molding machine operation and nomenclature to safely and properly complete all scheduled mold changes, good part to good part as directed by shift supervisor.
  • Responsible for reporting all damage or repairs needed to molding machines, secondary equipment and/or tooling by way of maintenance work orders and/or request for mold repair forms.
  • Perform mold changes in a timely manner as it pertains to the needs of the scheduler.
  • Start Up of machines and robots when applicable.
  • Minimum requirements for position: High school diploma or equivalent. Progressive toward certificate and/or Associate in Applied Science degree.

PROCESS TECHNICIAN (All Shifts)

The specific responsibilities and requirements for this position are:          

  • Problem solving skills to investigate troubled tools, processes and machinery.
  • Perform process monitoring and implement process changes to improve yield
  • Reduce cycle times
  • Improve quality 
  • Machine start up
  • Must be well organized
  • Able to operate in a fast paced environment 
  • Minimum requirements for position: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years experience, RJG Systematic, Master Molder 1 or associated degree in plastics preferred.

PRODUCTION OPERATOR/INSPECTOR (All Shifts)

The specific responsibilities and requirements for this position are:          

  • We are seeking talented and motive individuals for full time permanent production inspection positions. This position inspects parts and packages them for shipment per work instructions and quality standards. Requirements for this position include attention to detail, great attendance record, basic reading & writing skills.

MATERIAL HANDLER

The requirements for this position are:

  • Responsible for then inventory management (tag transactions) within production.
  • Ensure that the materials area and productions area are supplied with materials and packaging as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and filling out tags as all materials are pulled or put away.
  • Responsible for moving finished product to the truck and loading the truck.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The responsibilities and requirements for this position are:
  • Responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance of all machinery including preventative maintenance of all equipment.
  • Evaluate work orders and determine if repairs can be accomplished in house or needs to be outsourced. 
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for all repairs that need to be completed on the outside. 
  • Familiarity with entering data into computer systems like Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Ability to read schematics; electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic.
  • Minimum requirements for position: 2 years experience in maintenance of plastic injection molding equipment. Certified through formal technical or credited school. Journeyman’s license preferred

PROGRAM MANAGER

The requirements for this position are:

  • Primary contact responsible for interfacing with customers, suppliers and Primera associates regarding issues to quotes, new product hand-offs and Portfolio profitability
  • Manage quoting, tooling and equipment sourcing, new product hand-off and production projects and programs as assigned
  • Maintain current quote spreadsheet, customer visit summaries, create and maintain Bill of Materials and work with Sales Manager on commercial issues
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing methods to initiate and implement process changes to improve yield, reduced production cycle time, lower cost, and improve quality
  • Responsible for reporting any damage or repairs needed to molding machines, support equipment and/or tooling
  • Establish and maintain company key measures pertaining to Launch effectiveness and Portfolio Profitability
  • Provide support for production activities
  • Minimum requirements for position: Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. 5 years minimum experience in automotive industry preferred

TOOLING MAINTENANCE/REPAIR

The responsibilities and requirements for this position are:
  • Responsible for trouble shooting and maintenance of all production tooling including preventative maintenance
  • Assign physical locations for all tools and organization of tool area
  • Ability to manage all repairs on tools and coordinate outsourcing if needed.
  • Participate in new tooling design reviews
  • Ability to track internal and external tool work using internal systems
  • Must be detailed oriented and well organized
  • Able to operate in a fast pace environment
  • 5 years minimal experience in plastic injection molding preferred
  • Certified Tool Maker/Journeyman or Apprentice preferred

MASTER SCHEDULER

The responsibilities and requirements for this position are:
  • Responsible for the day to day creation, management, and update of the master production schedule to satisfy customer demands.
  • Maintain 100% on time delivery and effective EDI utilization by creating a schedule which results in efficient machine utilization and minimal downtime.
  • Establish and maintain min / max finished goods stock levels based on customer forecast and manufacturing requirements.
  • Communicate customer requirements and expedited shipment requirements to the distribution center.
  • Provide priorities to quality, containment, and shift leads on daily inspection requirements to meet customer shipments for the day.
  • Generate, build, and maintain good relationships with customers. Work with customers to resolve packaging, shipping, or other interruptions in meeting their demand.
  • Continually look for cost savings initiatives.
  • Work with purchasing to expedite materials to meet customer demands.
  • Provide support for production activities.
  • Responsible for writing/creating monthly & annual company forecast.

QUALITY ENGINEER

The responsibilities and requirements for this position are:
  • Primary contact responsible for interfacing with customers, suppliers and Primera associates regarding issues related to the quality of parts or components and for PPAP submissions.
  • Support production operations by assisting in making day-to-day quality decisions training associates on quality expectations.
  • Ensure timely Customer and Supplier sample submission and PPAP approvals.
  • Monitor and communicate customer, internal and supplier incidents as well as coordinate internal and external sorts as required.
  • Maintain: a) open issues list for Customer, Supplier and internal issues; b) all current and obsolete product files; c) customer incident logs & reports; d) part drawing document control; e) customer and supplier issued deviations.
  • Coordinate corrective action planning and customer response utilizing 8D process and documentation.
  • Facilitate process for team involvement in the development of Process Flow, PFMEA, and other APQP documentation.
  • Manage customer SC’s – SPC & gage requirements as well as write and maintain in-process and final audit instructions and gage instructions for operators.
  • Maintain: a) gage calibration schedule and process; b) label database accuracy for finished parts; c) IMDS reporting.
  • Perform internal audits.
  • Adhere and implement procedures that are in the best interest of Primera.
  • Direct customer contact for issues relating to the PPAP process.
  • Minimum Requirements: High school diploma and Progress toward degree in Quality Assurance or relevant experience preferred.
  • Maintain: a) gage calibration schedule and process; b) label database accuracy for finished parts; c) IMDS reporting.
