We Are Primera

Plastic Injection Molding

In Spanish, Primera means first. As a Hispanic-owned company, this name is very intentional and we think about it a lot.

For us, being Primera never meant being the biggest or the most profitable. It was never about awards or accolades. It was taking our skills, our passion and our determination, and turning it into a responsible company, avid collaborator and fierce community partner.

1.

Putting quality, safety and precision first, for every project.

2.

Holding our work to the highest standards to be your first choice.

3.

Helping employees and students put personal development first.

Primera Plastics understands that it is through hard work and dedication that we can accomplish great things. But we know that the joy of accomplishing those things comes when we work together as one.

Primera’s People

Our people are more than an asset – they are the heart and soul of our business.

It is only through their efforts, determination and high standards that we have become the quality business partner you deserve. RJG-certified master molders and an entire staff devoted to improvement and advancement through efforts like our proprietary APQP processes.

We believe in development and growth. We believe in work and rest. We believe that our culture is only as strong as the people who live and breathe it every day.

Our people are more than an asset – they’re our competitive edge.

Community Involvement

At Primera Plastics, we believe that part of our job is to make the community we thrive in better for all those with whom we share it.

We have addressed the skilled worker gap with programs like Primera Pathways. This program hires and trains underserved high school students, as well as provides transportation and life skill learning opportunities, to help open the door to the option of vocational work.

We host tours of our facility for community members, educators and potential business partners, as our way of remaining transparent and accessible to our community.

It’s a big world, but at Primera, we know the best way to make a positive impact is to begin in your own backyard.

“I thank you all very much for your willingness to speak with the Holland Promesa students this summer. Your stories were fascinating, inspirational, and impactful for the students. A few of them mentioned the talks in their final presentations as they discussed the effects the program had on their educational goals. I don’t know if you realize the lasting effect you have on them as they move forward. Again, thank you for making the students in the Holland area a priority. You do make a difference in their lives.”

Recycling & Sustainability

While we have a significant interest in supporting the immediate community in which we live and work, we never forget that we are all part of a bigger global community. At Primera Plastics we believe in creating zero-footprint processes for products and production process in order to responsibly manage resources and protect the environment. How, you ask?

  • Choosing easily-recycled materials that meet job needs
  • Optimizing processes to create fewer defects and less waste
  • Developing award-winning water and energy policies

Awards

Primera Plastics holds itself to the highest standards. Whether it’s the quality of our products, the commitment to our employees, or engagement in our community – we believe in giving our absolute best.

While we set the bar high by our own standards, we’ve managed to meet and exceed those set by our community, state and industry as well. We’re humbled and proud that our company has been recognized for its efforts and values.

Awards don’t allow you to rest on your laurels, they fuel the fire to challenge yourself once more.
